Mr. Isaac Oneka Munanairi is the Executive Director of the Kenya Voluntary Development Association (KVDA) and a Social Scientist with over 25 years of extensive experience in the third sector. Over the course of his career, Oneka has developed significant professional expertise in Kenya and internationally, working on programmes and initiatives across Denmark, Zimbabwe, South Africa, France, Mexico, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Estonia, Slovenia, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Nepal, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and other global destinations. He has extensive experience working with social movements and has served in various capacities with both national and international organizations. His professional experience and leadership have contributed to the successful implementation of European Commission Erasmus+ programmes, achieving exemplary results. Oneka has considerable exposure on the international stage and has travelled to more than 80 destinations in connection with work-related programmes and activities. From 2004 to 2014, he served for 10 years (elected for 3 terms) as a member of the Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS) Headquartered at UNESCO House, Paris, France, rising through the ranks to become CCIVS VicePresident for Capacity Building and Quality Improvement. He is also a founding member and official of the Voluntary Associations Consortium of Kenya (VASCO), the Eastern Africa Volunteer Service Network (EAVS), which brings together volunteer organizations from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Somalia, as well as the Network of African Voluntary Organizations (NAVO), based in Nairobi, Kenya.  He is the current Chairperson of Forum for Republican Democracy-FORD Asili, the liberating political party in Kenya, the vanguard of Social Justice whose slogan is “Haki na Ukweli”- “Justice and Truth”.   Through his extensive experience, international exposure, and commitment to volunteerism and social development, Mr. Isaac Oneka Munanairi has contributed significantly to strengthening voluntary service, social movements, organizational capacity, and international cooperation
